It's now some time since 1Let took over management of our flat in Edinburgh. I'm writing to say a huge thankyou!
Left in a state of disrepair after the previous tenants,we were so grateful that you managed the repairs and redecoration not only as economically as possible but to a high and tasteful standard AND found tenants in double quick time.
Since then I have hardly had to think about the flat. It is so great to have confidence that all the running of the flat is in safe and reliable hands, yet we are contacted appropriately for decisions where necessary which is additionally reassuring. Ewan project managed the installation of a new kitchen very successfully. 1Let were then able to find suitable tenants to commence a year's let all within 3 weeks of the date of entry. Great result all round with which we were delighted. The management going forward has been trouble free to us. Misplaced keys by tenants or whatever have been sorted out promptly by 1Let. This was our first but hopefully not last buy to let investment. 1Let have been brilliant. They found a tenant far more quickly than we'd hoped (i.e. immediately !) for our flat in mid 2003 and everything has been remarkably straightfoward. Little things like sorting blocked pipes and fixing a dodgy boiler happens smoothly without any hassle. Dealing with 1Let a delight. Would thoroughly recommend. P. Brown (Landlord)

As a tenant of 1Let, they were one of the best landlords you could wish for. My needs were a little different to most people as I had a number of pets including a hyperactive dog.
Although the majority of private landlords don't allow pets, particularly very active dogs, Ewan and Fiona as landlords were very accomodating and assesed the situation on it's merits instead of a flat out "no". We came to a mutual agreement that everyone was happy with, and it meant that I didn't have to worry.
Added to which, I've never had a landlord who came around, checked the place and watered my plants whilst I was away before!
If you're thinking of renting, either as someone looking for an agent or someone who needs to rent, these are the people to go with. Helen
